I am a book addict myself, and I’m so bad about the library. I’ve been in NC for over 3 years and don’t even have a library card! I live off of BN.com and am a huge fan of PBS! The greatest way to get books for *almost* free!

LOVE Paperback Swap and used book stores. The library is always wonderful too, but I always feel so pressured when there is a “due date” on the book.

I have a friend whom I trade books with on a twice-yearly basis…it’s fun to suddenly get a box of books!

It may seem strange, but check out your church’s lending library. Ours has a lot of books, and not just on faith-related topics.

Finally, check out your library’s summer reading program. Not only can you read lots of books for free, but at our libraries adults too can earn points that they can exchange for a new paperback. Worth checking into!

Great ideas. I’m guilty of “needing” to buy the brand new copy too. And I think the reason I avoid the library is that I can never seem to get my books back to them on time.
