I’ve always had a little bit of a “thing” for cowboys. I don’t really know what it is that draws me to them but it’s become borderline obsession now. Now, there is a particular group of cowboys that I like….Officially they are known as Professional Bullriders and they (and the sport in general) are the reason why my friend Ashley and I were supposed to spend 2 days on a train going all the way to Nampa, Idaho in April to see them, but we were unable to due to budget constraints. Oh and then there is another cowboy that “does it” for me too, who will be introduced later in this post.
Now let me introduce you to some of my favorite sights/cowboys/bulls of the PBR (oh and at the end the other cowboy that “does it” for me as well.):

This is Guilherme Marchi, he’s from Brazil and the scar on his chin is HOT!

Oh and have I mentioned that I LOVE the zoom feature on my camera….Which brings us to “BUTT CAM!”

Let’s put it this way….I would have seen Ghost Rider a heck of a lot sooner had I known Sam Elliot was in it. Is it weird that after I hear one of his “beef it’s what’s for dinner” commercials I start jonesing for a steak? There are worse things to be “addicted” to right?!

Well, I know we have a couple things in common…one bullriders (I married one and my life pretty much revolves around the sport) and two Sam Elliot (he’s a hottie!)
I married myself a cowboy from East Texas. He’s a doll! He rarely puts on his Wranglers, Cinch Shirts, and boots as there is no need for those clothes in downtown SLC. But I have fond memories of him picking me up at the Dallas Love Field,airport in his black cowboy hat. Love it.

I joking put my dads cowboy hat on my husband once, and you know what, men just look good in them. I thought for sure Matt could not pull off cowboy, but damn!

First thing : I LOVE bull riders. Apparently it’s in my blood, because my dad used to ride bulls prior to going into the service.
And another thing – my mom is in love with Sam Elliott. He is one sexy beast of a western.

I love the deep cowboy voice. If I weren’t already married, I would marry Josh Turner’s voice. Just his voice though. And it’s okay, Hubby already knows this…and he also knows that part of the reason I married him is because he has that same deep-sexy cowboy voice.

Guilherme Marchi is my partner’s boy crush. Whenever we happen to see bull riding on tv, she insists on watching it until we get to see “her boy.” As a former barrell racer – I too love bull riding – Chris Shivers is my personal “boy crush.” And no matter who ya are; gay, straight, or otherwise… you can’t deny that there’s something about a bull rider’s butt in Wranglers and chaps.

Many, many years ago I used to have a bumper sticker on my car that said “Cowboy butts drives me nuts”. I sold the car to a rather large, tough looking man (I wonder if he ever took it off or if he is still driving around with that bumper sticker on the back of his car) but I still have a thing for cowboys. :o)
